The PGA Championship is coming back to Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa in 2030.
Tiger Woods was 31 years old when he won the PGA Championship at Southern Hills in 2007. Woods tied a course record when he shot a 63 in the second round in 2007.
Tiger Woods will be 54 in 2030.
In one 13-year period, Southern Hill hosted the 1970 PGA Championship (won by Dave Stockton), the 1977 U.S. Open (won by Hubert Green) and the 1982 PGA Championship (won by Raymond Floyd). Stockton beat Arnold Palmer and Bob Murphy by two strokes.
The PGA said in 2017 that the Perry Maxwell design at Southern Hills was on the rotation for another PGA. The U.S. Open was played in Tulsa in 1958, 1977 and 2001.
The PGA also announced that the May 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship would be in Tulsa.
