Absentee ballot deadline is June 22

Voters in Tulsa County who want to have absentee ballots mailed to them for the June 28 election for the state and county primary, State Senate District 12 special primary, City of Tulsa primary, City of Jenks special (utility franchise) plus the Liberty Public Schools special election should apply now, County Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant said.

Although the County Election Board can accept applications for absentee ballots until 5 p.m. on June 22, Bryant urged voters who want to vote by absentee ballot to apply early. Absentee ballot application forms are available at the County Election Board office at 555 N. Denver Ave. The absentee ballot application forms also can be downloaded and printed at: www.elections.ok.gov.
