Voters in Tulsa County who want to have absentee ballots mailed to them for the February 14 annual school election should apply now, said County Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant/
Elections are scheduled for the following school districts: Tulsa, Collinsville, Union, Tulsa Tech, Jenks and Skiatook plus city council votes in Owasso and Sand Springs.
The County Election Board can accept applications for absentee ballots until 5 p.m. on February 8.
Bryant urged voters who want to vote by absentee ballot to apply early.
Absentee ballot application forms are available at the County Election Board office at 555 N. Denver Ave. An online version is at: www.elections.ok.gov.
Ballots must be in the hands of County Election Board officials by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
