Tulsa Repeater Organization will present the Amateur Radio Field Day from 8 a.m. 10 p.m. June 24 at Kiefer City Park (on 151st Street and Indiana Avenue in Kiefer).

The Field Day is an annual amateur radio exercise, sponsored by the American Radio Relay League, encouraging emergency communications preparedness. In the United States, it is typically the largest single emergency preparedness exercise in the country, with over 30,000 operators participating each year.
Members will start setting up radios and antennas at 8 a.m. They will begin to make and log contacts with other Field Day operations around the United States and Canada at 1 p.m. A picnic is scheduled for 6 p.m. The public is invited.
