Another movie filming in Oklahoma

Chasing Sunsets, L.L.C., a northwest Arkansas-based production company, in association with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office announced the feature film, The Mustanger and The Lady, has started principal photography in Oklahoma. Inspired by the 150th novel by western writer Dusty Richards, executive producers, Amber N. Lindley and Kenn Woodard, brought this project to the state with Oklahoma native James Cotton attached as director.

“I’m from Sallisaw, and spent a few years in Oklahoma City, so I couldn’t think of a better place to tell this story,” said Cotten. “I may be a little biased, but I’ve made a few movies all over the world, so I can tell you that the support here is amazing; the talent is off the charts; and it’s good to be home.”

Woodard said, “We are thankful for the support and encouragement we have received from the talented network available here. It is a great opportunity for creative collaboration to soar.”
