Biased news reports pumps out progressive propaganda
It should not be surprising that the national media has become more of a propaganda machine than a true news source. For several decades, those in the electronic, as well as print media, purporting to be “reporters or news anchors” have tended to slant the body of their report more as an editorial than as proper news. Originally, true news reporters and anchors simply stated the facts of the subject: who, what, when, where and why and left the opinion to those on the receiving end (and the editorial opinion writers).
Unfortunately for the United States and those of us who believe in the rule of law and that the Constitution as the primary law of the land, the movement to the above began in my memory during the 1930s. This was particularly during the last 80 percent of that decade which saw us being governed by the FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) Democrat administration.
It is my belief that the 1917 Communist uprising, resulting in the Soviet Union, which was determined to become the ruler of the world, just as is the goal of Islam.
They began by infiltrating the teachers colleges, where the instructor pay was not comparable to what it is now, and subsidizing the living expenses of those who had accepted their premise. From there, it expanded into the previously more honest colleges and universities so that even the students from more affluent backgrounds could be influenced.
Now we are on the receiving end of the results of this agenda. The national media distorts or outright lies about events of newsworthiness.
The supposedly unbiased anchors of the evening news slant their reports with voice inflections, raised eyebrows or other means to cast doubt on the “wrong” side of the story. In recent decades, since the mid-1960s, this bias has been almost totally in favor of the C/S (communist/socialist) point of view, commonly referred to as “liberal” or “progressive.”
Recent examples coming to mind are several. One is the reporting on the Fort Hood terrorist massacre perpetrated by an Army major in the Medical Department. The building where it occurred (and according to reports, the whole base) was disarmed. That helped him work his evil with assurance that there would be no resistance. It was not reported early that he was a dedicated Muslim and had become oriented to terrorism, despite some negative evaluation reports. Even now, four years later, while he has received his pay and allowances, the PRESBO administration has refused to classify the incident as “terrorism.”
In reporting the Zimmerman case in Florida, the media conveniently omitted the fact, if they even checked, that Mr. Zimmerman had Hispanic ancestry or that he had been the victim of a brutal physical attack and shot in self defense or that the attacker was almost 18, and thus an adult, with a police rap sheet. Instead, early reports of Mr. Martin included photos of him at age 10 and thus appearing to be a “sweet young boy.” One network even photo-shopped the tape of Mr Zimmerman at police headquarters to delete the fact that he was in handcuffs and had bleeding injuries on the back of his head.
In the most recent case of murder in Duncan, Okla., it was conveniently left out that two of the killers were black and some reports that this may have been part of gang initiation. The hue and cry has risen to “ban guns” – conveniently leaving out that not one of the killers were legally allowed to own one and that the serial number on the weapon was filed off, indicating it was stolen and either supplied or bought on the black market.
Even some of the most well known and thought of anchor reporters of the early years have now been shown to have had substantial bias to the C/S point of view.
