Four fire trucks, four ambulance chassis, transit buses, travel trailers and sporting goods will be among the more than 2,500 items up for bids at the next City of Tulsa surplus property auction. The auction will be Nov. 18, at the City of Tulsa surplus property facility, 108 N. Trenton Ave., beginning at 9:32 a.m.
Potential bidders may preview the merchandise on Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The city surplus property facility also will open at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, for viewing merchandise before the sale begins.
Other items for sale include CPR mannequins, public washroom equipment such as soap and paper towel dispensers, animal cages and lab equipment.
Police property room items also will be part of the auction, with four binders of collector’s stamps among them, including some golden replicas of U.S. stamps. As in previous auctions, there will be many surplus vehicles, lawn and mowing equipment, tools, building materials, electronics, furniture and office equipment.
All sales are “as is.” It is the bidder’s responsibility to assess condition of merchandise.
No one under age 16 may be admitted at the city surplus property facility. Cash, Mastercards and Visa cards are accepted. Checks can be accepted only if accompanied by a letter of guaranty from the financial institution on which the check is drawn.
