Editorial: Clinton and Planned Parenthood

Hillary Clinton has been endorsed by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund because of her lifelong support of Planned Parenthood and the killing of unborn babies in their mothers’ wombs.

That alone is enough to disqualify her from being president.

“There has never been a more important election when it comes to women’s health and reproductive rights – and Planned Parenthood’s patients, providers, and advocates across the country are a crucial line of defense against the dangerous agenda being advanced by every Republican candidate for president,” Mrs. Clinton said.

She is opposed to the bill passed earlier this month to defund Planned Parenthood. She believes that Americans who don’t believe in abortion should still have to pay for this killings with federal tax dollars.

Mrs. Clinton is lying when she says defunding Planned Parenthood would take away health coverage from “18 million people.” There are plenty of alternative health centers that don’t rip babies to shreds in their mothers’ wombs that provide those services.

In another bold lie, Mrs. Clinton said, “We need a president who has what it takes to stop Republicans from defunding Planned Parenthood and taking away a woman’s right to basic health care.”

Having a right to something is different than forcing someone else to pay for your health care. No Republican is advocating keeping health care from women. That’s absurd.

Mrs. Clinton wants Bible-believing Christians to subsidize abortions by Planned Parenthood. She lies about access to contraceptives, too. No one is denying the use of contraceptives – they just don’t want to make it a mandatory aspect of health coverage.

There will be a steady stream of lies from Mrs. Clinton as she promotes the mythical “war on women.” The real “war on women” was waged by her husband when he was unfaithful to her during his presidency.
