The University of California (UC) now requires faculty to adhere to a new creed – diversity.  Every applicant for a position must write a diversity statement that tells the university how, in the past, the applicant has promoted diversity — and how the applicant will promote diversity in the future. Diversity is defined by UC in terms of “ethnicity, gender, and other forms of under-representation.”  However, UC’s diversity policy does not apply to certain ideology.  For example: conservative thought and Republican Party ideology is not welcome on UC campuses, even though both fall into the “under-representation” class.

UC officials claim their “diversity oath” is compliant with Proposition 209 (California Civil Rights Initiative) that became law in November 1996.  Proposition 209 amended the state constitution to prohibit state governmental institutions from considering race, sex or ethnicity, specifically in the areas of public employment, public contracting and public education.

Liberals always try to twist the law to fit their thinking.  They cannot seem to understand, that by promoting diversity, they’re giving preferential treatment to one person or group at the expense of another.  And that practice is defined as favoritism, discrimination, prejudice, bigotry, intolerance, narrow-mindedness, etc.

Diversity comes from the word “diverse” which means different, dissimilar, unalike, etc.  The secular world tells us we must embrace diversity and inclusion … and yet these two terms are incompatible.

It’s somewhat like trying to mix oil and water together . . . The two always separate because they are opposite in character and incapable of existing together.  The only way the two will mix is for one to “change and conform” to the other.

In today’s world, we are engaged in a spiritual war –  Evil vs Good.  The secular world wants us to change and conform to their way of life . . . which leads straight to Hell.  However, God’s Word tells us that we are not to be “yoked” together with unbelievers.

So, we must not let the evilness of this world cause us to stray from the path of righteousness.  We are to submit ourselves to the Lord, resist the devil, and the devil will flee.  And the Lord has promised a crown of righteousness is awaiting all those who do not fall away. So keep the faith and do not conform to the world.
