Fisher at Patriot Pastor luncheon

State Rep. Dan Fisher, R-Yukon, will speak at the November 3 luncheon of the Tulsa Patriot Pastors group.

The luncheon is on the first Tuesday of the month at noon at Uncle Bucks Grill in Bass Pro in Broken Arrow.

Fisher has been senior pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon for years. He is in the process of leaving his pulpit to devote time to a movie project on Colonial America and the leadership roles that pastors played in the formation of the Republic.

He was elected as an Oklahoma state representative in District 60 in 2012.  Fisher is the author of Bringing Back the Black Robed Regiment, a two-volume college-level history textbook of the churches and pastors during the Revolutionary period in Colonial America.

Fisher is also revising his book into one volume for more effective distribution of the much needed information to pastors across the nation.

“He is really a powerful communicator,” said Pastor Bruce Delay of Heartland Church.
