Free summer movies at the Circle

Readers and movie lovers are invited to beat the July heat by taking the fun indoors for free “Summer Movies at Circle Cinema” Tuesdays in July at 1 p.m. (July 5, 12, 19, and 26).

As part of Tulsa City-County Library’s summer reading program, enjoy a family-friendly movie at Circle Cinema, 10 S. Lewis, each Tuesday in July beginning at 1 p.m., in the 225-seat theater. There also will be accommodations for overflow seating. Children have the choice of receiving a free popcorn, drink or candy bar. Seating is limited. Call 918-549-7584 for movie titles featured July 5, 12, 19 and 26. “The free Summer Movies @ Circle Cinema is a great partnership with the Kendall-Whittier Library,” said Chuck Foxen, Circle Cinema film programmer. “It’s an experience of bringing books, movies and community together to share an experience at Circle Cinema. It’s a real gift to children in Tulsa.”

The 2016 Summer Reading Program is ongoing through Aug. 6. To sign up, children and teens, ages newborn to 17, and adults can register at any Tulsa City-County Library or online at www.TulsaLibrary.org/summer. No library card is required. For more information, call the Kendall-Whittier Library, 918-549-7584.
