Gen. Jerry Boykin to speak at pastors’ event November 1

U.S. Sen. James Lankford, General Jerry Boykin (retired), Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, State Rep. Dan Fisher, Pastor Paul Blair and others are scheduled to speak at the State of Oklahoma Pastors’ Briefing 2016 Nov. 1 in Tulsa.

“This congress should be attended by every Oklahoma pastor concerned about the future of America,” said Pastor Jesse Leon Rodgers.

Registration for the event begins at 9 a.m. and the program is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City Plex Towers (formerly the ORU City of Faith) on 81st Street at Lewis Avenue.

Rodgers, Bishop E.W. Jackson and Bill Ledbetter are also scheduled to speak.

Jackson is the founder and current president of S.T.A.N.D. (Staying True To America’s National Destiny).

During Boykin’s 36-year career in the military, he spent 13 years in the Delta Force, including two years as its commander, and was involved in numerous high-profile missions, including the 1980 Iran hostage event, the 1992 hunt for Pablo Escobar in Colombia, and the Black Hawk Down incident in Mogadishu, Somalia. He is an author and teaches at Hampden-Sydney College, Virginia. He is executive vice president at the Family Research Council in Washington D.C.

From 1996 to 2009, Lankford was the student ministries and evangelism specialist for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, and he was director of the Falls Creek youth programming at the Falls Creek Baptist Conference Center.

Blair is pastor at Fairview Baptist Church. He founded Reclaiming Oklahoma for Christ as well as Protect Life and Marriage Oklahoma. Blair has also been named National Pastor of the Year by Vision America.

Fisher is known as a leader in the “Resonance Movement” and has given his presentation, “Bringing Back the Black Robed Regiment,” all across America.

Ledbetter is the founder of the South Central Patriot’s Conference.

Ledbetter  is the pastor of Fairview Baptist Church in Durant.

Rodgers is the founding president of Pastors United.  He is also the Oklahoma State Overseer of “Watchmen on the Wall”, the pastor’s network of the Family Research Council.

Participating ministries include the Family Research Council from Washington, D.C.; Watchmen on the Wall; Reclaiming America for Christ; The Black Robed Regiment; The Church United; Patriots Conference; and S.T.A.N.D.
