Editorial: Gun control is not the solution

President Obama thinks that gun control would have stopped the massacre in San Bernadino, California.

That is just not true.

California already has some of the toughest gun control laws in the nation. Californians who want to buy a gun must undergo a background check and a 10-day waiting period.

The two Islamic terrorists who killed 14 people and wounded 22 bought their guns legally. They were not judged mentally ill and they had no criminal records. The only way you could prevent these people from getting guns is to confiscate every gun in the nation.

Maybe that is what Obama wants, too. After all, he said he was against homosexual marriage when he ran for office and now he celebrates homosexuality in the ballroom of the White House

By the way, any doubt that the San Bernadino shooters were not Islamic terrorists has been erased. Even the FBI, who were apparently under orders from the White House to not call this an act of terror, admits that it was not “workplace violence.”

ISIS praised the shooting but didn’t take credit, even though it was accomplished by two ISIS devotees.

World War III is starting to hit America and we have the weakest president in our history. Our enemies don’t fear us and our friends can no longer trust us.

Terrorists can’t win a frontal assault. Their goal is to demoralize their enemies with isolated but horrific assaults.

Law enforcement is working hard to protect Americans. It’s too bad they don’t have the full support of a president who won’t call a Muslim terrorist a Muslim terrorist.
