It’s hard to beat the Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In the Big 12/SEC Challenge Saturday, the Hogs edged Oklahoma State 66-65 as the SEC won six of 10 interleague matchups.
Oklahoma State had a chance to take the lead in the last seconds, but both Jeffrey Carroll and Mitchell Solomon missed at close range.
Lindy Waters scored 17 points to lead the Cowboys (13-8), who fell to 3-2 in the Big 12/Southeastern Conference Challenge. Brandon Averette and Solomon added 10 points each in the loss.
Arkansas now leads the series in Fayetteville, 10-8. OSU has now lost its last six road games dating back to last season. OSU’s record against the current member of the SEC is now 124-128.
OSU hosted TCU Tuesday. The Cowboys travel to Kansas Saturday for an 11 a.m. game with the Jayhawks on CBS. OSU hosts Baylor at 7 p.m. Tuesday on ESPNU.
