The 21st Annual Jenks Herb & Plant Festival will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15 in Downtown Jenks.
Main Street is loaded with a long line of booths with hundreds of varieties of herbs, vegetables (especially tomatoes) flowers, shrubs, trees and other essentials to get a garden growing.
The Creek County Master Gardeners will be present to share their extensive knowledge and experience. The Kiwanis Club start serving pancakes at 7 a.m. on Main street at First Methodist Church.
Visitors can view the new Jenks park at 2nd and “A” streets called The Jenks Commons. Children can have hands-on fun in the arts and crafts area and the “first planting” experience booth. For more information, go to Jenksgardenclub.com or call 918-446-2488.
