We need to step back and consider why the 2016 presidential election is so important. There are many defining issues such as rebuilding the military, closing the borders, cancelling poor trade agreements and so forth, but the most important is the fact that the new president will probably appoint the majority of Supreme Court justices.
Why does that really matter since the justices and federal judges are sworn to support and defend the Constitution of the United States? No judge has ever rewritten laws or laid in the weeds to ambush a client. Right?
Wrong. The Democrats for the last 50 years have used activist judges to gain positions and decision they could never hope to achieve from the ballot boxes.
President Obama today uses executive orders to gain what Congress would never give him. We have gays in the military, women infantry members and a transgender bathroom policy each stuffed down one’s throat by unelected bureaucrats, regulators and executive orders.
The president has done his level best to tell those sworn to uphold the law to stand down. Just look at San Jose after the Trump rally. Trump supporters were attacked and assaulted by thugs carrying Mexican flags who set American flags ablaze. Why?
Because as the GOP presidential candidate, Mr. Trump, is proposing deporting illegals, closing the border and building a wall. All of this would never have been necessary if existing immigration policy had been followed and those from Mexico and Central America had simply applied for citizenship or other legal status.
Today our laws are flaunted when sanctuary cities and amnesty is proposed by those who want and profit from paying low wages to a crowd of new democrat voters.
If companies cannot get the low wages here they move their operations to China, Mexico or where there is no minimum wage, health care or protection for workers. This policy must change and will change with a Trump presidency.
In the latest flap up over Mexico, Donald Trump made the assertion that the federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel of San Diego might not be impartial in the Trump University lawsuit because his parents were from Mexico and Trump wants to build a wall on the border.
What if it is the case? Judge Curiel will not be the first or last jurist to be biased. After all he has been a member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association.
The group is celebrating its 37th birthday, after being founded in 1979. Its members include current and former state and federal court judges, magistrates, referees, law professors, bar officials and government officials.
Specific goals of SDLRLA are to increase the number of Latinos in the legal profession, encourage and support Latino judicial candidates and to strongly advocate positions on judicial, economic and social issues to political leaders and state and local bar association that impact the Latino community.
Might that also include blocking and financially hurting those who might oppose their views? It is entirely possible.
Just below the surface in California is the Reconquista movement, which claims that the United States stole large sections of the Southwestern United States from Mexico. The goal of Reconquista is to reconquer those lost or stolen territories for “La Raza,” the race indigenous to Mexico.
The goal whether you want to believe it or not is for illegal aliens to get citizenship for themselves and their children so that they can eventually vote to return California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to Mexico.
Cheap labor is not the gift horse that it pretends to be, but a well-organized invading army with plenty of political and business support.
