According to Daniel Jeremiah of nfl.com, no Oklahoma, Oklahoma State or Tulsa players are among the top 50 prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft.
In fact, no Big 12 Conference or American Athletic Conference players made that list.
Ohio State, who hosts Oklahoma this fall, has four players in the Top 50. Defensive end Myles Garrett of Texas A&M is the No. 1 prospect, followed by safety Malik Hooker at No. 2 and cornerback Mashon Lattimore at No. 3.
Hooker and Lattimore are both from Ohio State. Six Ohio State underclassmen have officially declared for the draft.
Alabama leads the way with seven players in the Top 50.
According to the list, the top-rated quarterback in this draft is DeShone Kizer of Notre Dame at No. 15. The only other quarterbacks that made the list are North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky at No. 31 and Clemson’s Deshaun Watson at No. 32.
Running backs Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon and defensive tackle Charles Walker are all leaving OU with eligibility to enter the draft. Defensive tackle Vincent Taylor of Oklahoma State also will enter the draft as an underclassman.
The draft will be held from April 27-29 in Philadelphia.
