Candidates for the Owasso City Council may begin filing for office at 8 a.m. December 11. The filing period ends December 13.
Candidates can file at the Tulsa County Election Board office, 555 North Denver Ave., said Gwen Freeman, secretary of the County Election Board.
These offices are open:
Municipality Office, Owasso Ward 1, Ward 2 (both have three-year terms).
A nonpartisan primary election is scheduled for February 13, with a general election, if needed, to be held April 3.
Owasso Vice Mayor Chris Kelley represents Ward 2 and Councilor Jeri Moberly represents Ward 1.
