Circle Cinema will host a Pearl Harbor 75th Anniversary Remembrance Event on Dec. 7 by showing a documentary on the historic attack that got America into World War II.
December 7, 2016, marks the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Dubbed a “date that will live in infamy” by President Roosevelt, the nation looks to honor, thank, and remember those who served and those who lost their lives on that day.
Circle Cinema, 12 S. Lewis Ave., will show the film at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and admission is free.
Circle Cinema will screen locally-filmed interviews with six Tulsa-area veterans regarding the attack and sharing their personal stories. These interviews were filmed and produced by Circle Cinema.
In addition, live music will be played on the theatre’s 1928 pipe organ and on display in the gallery will be a World War II military exhibit from Keith Meyers.
