Red Ribbon Campaign seeks to defund Planned Parenthood

Tulsans are taking an active part in the Red Ribbon Campaign to “Defund Planned Parenthood.”

The release of a series of undercover videos show the horrific attitude and procedures of Planned Parenthood – the top abortion provider in America.

“Planned Parenthood’s evil business of selling the bodies of aborted babies has now been exposed,” a campaign spokesman said. “Planned Parenthood executives refer to babies, whole or in parts, as merely ‘line items’ on a requisition form.

“It’s a life!   Not a line item.

“Good men and women must now take action to stop this evil.  One small action, we can all take is to ask our congressional representatives and senators to stop giving our Federal tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.”

Planned Parenthood gets more than $500,000,000.00 in federal grants for abortions every year. The Red Ribbon Campaign To Defund Planned Parenthood is encouraging Americans to wear a red ribbon in remembrance for the babies who have been killed in their mothers’ wombs. The campaign is distributing red ribbons with tiny silver feet (the actual size of a baby’s feet 10 weeks after conception).

They are also distributing cards that feature  a red ribbon with the words, “It’s a life.  Not a line item.  Defund Planned Parenthood OK.”  The back of the card lists every Oklahoma Congressional Representative and Senator with their phone numbers.

They have bumper stickers with a red ribbon with the words, “It’s a life. Not a line item. Defund Planned Parenthood OK.” They can be contacted through their Facebook page, Defund Planned Parenthood Ok.

“This campaign is not about politics,” a spokesman said. “It is about taking actions to stop morally reprehensible practices by Planned Parenthood.  If we do not take action to stop the selling of aborted babies, we are accomplices to these evil practices.”

The Tulsa group joined a national protest August 22 at the Tulsa office of Planned Parenthood at 1007 S. Peoria Ave.
