Regent School breaks ground for $8.5m plan

Regent Preparatory School of Oklahoma last Friday broke ground for an $8.5-million expansion project at its campus at 8621 S. Memorial Drive.

The classical Christian school will begin Phase 1 of the expansion that includes new football and baseball fields, as well as improvements to the existing library and fine arts facilities.

Regent, founded in 2000, has 470 students in prekindergarten through the 12th grade. Regent recently joined the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association and in just a year and a half, has claimed four state titles.

The school’s high school students maintain an average ACT score of 27.8.
