State Rep. Kyle Hilbert, R-Sapulpa, will speak at the OK2A Creek County Chapter from 6:30-8 p.m. September 7 at Café USA, 725 S. Mission in Sapulpa.
Hilbert represents District 29.
Hilbert was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2016, where he is the second-youngest member serving in the Legislature. His district includes most of Creek County, and also far western Tulsa County. He attended Oklahoma State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness. While at OSU, Kyle served as student body president. Hilbert works for the family business, DoughBoyz Pizza & Equipment.
Hilbert will discuss OK2A-endorsed legislation that he authored this year which allows all military members to apply for handgun licenses, regardless of age. He will also talk about other pro-2A legislation and his experiences as a first-year legislator.
