‘Share the Love’ pet adoption day

December 19, 2013

The Tulsa SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) will join the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and Subaru of America for the annual year-end Subaru “Share the Love” event and celebration, which runs through January 2.

As part of this national effort, the Tulsa SPCA and Ferguson Subaru have teamed up to create off-site adoptions at the Tulsa dealership, along with offering opportunities to foster dogs over the holidays. The Share The Love Adoption Day will be at Ferguson Subaru, 1501 N. Elm in Broken Arrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. December 21.

“We are honored to receive a grant from ASPCA to help fund a special initiative that will benefit pets and families,” said Michael Turner, interim executive director.  “Our Mobile Adoption Center helps us carry out our mission of finding forever homes for homeless dogs and cats in Tulsa. This grant makes it possible to rebrand the vehicle to make it more visible to community members thus providing us more opportunities to increase adoptions.”
