Democrats want to impeach President Trump because they wish to overturn the 2016 presidential election.

Here’s how this will end. The House will vote along party lines and the Senate will acquit because the accusations against Trump are baseless.

Speaker Pelosi knows this effort won’t get rid of Trump. The purpose is to drag his name in the mud and damage his chance for re-election in 2020. Also, the House is blocking any meaningful legislation – even bills that would be very beneficial to the nation – to keep Trump from having any success with his policies.

How should the public respond to this attempt for a coup?

First, Republicans need to retake control of the House in 2020. In Oklahoma, that means replacing U.S. Rep. Kendra Horn from Oklahoma with a Republican – a conservative Republican.

Horn and Oklahoma Democrat leaders are in lock-step with Pelosi.

“The Oklahoma Democratic Party is proud of Congresswoman Horn’s vote in support of the Republican-led request to formalize the impeachment hearing process,” said Oklahoma Democrat Party Chair Alicia Andrews.

Then, Trump needs to win re-election.

Getting rid of Trump would mean a roll back of middle class tax cuts. It would mean a relentless attack on the energy industry. It would mean expansion of abortion and special rights for homosexuals. It would signal an attack on constitutional gun rights and the end of private health care in America.

Pelosi and her socialist minions know that their slate of presidential candidates can’t beat Trump in a fair fight in 2020. They have chosen to damage our political process rather than to rely on their progressive policies.

Impeachment will fail, the Democrats will be exposed and Trump and the American people will prevail.
