Vandals strike BA’s A New Leaf

A New Leaf’s Retail Garden Center was broken into June 1 and vandalized leaving a wake of $25,000 worth of damage.  The garden center, typically a safe haven, is a place where adults with developmental disabilities and autism work every day to increase their independence.

The retail garden center at 2405 S. Elm Place in Broken Arrow is an extension of main campus of A New Leaf and serves as a retail garden center for the public to visit as well as purchase their plants knowing that all sales go back into serving individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.  “We are thankful that no employees or clients were hurt during this vicious attack, but the aftermath for the team is disheartening and goes against every principle that A New Leaf stands for,” a spokesman said
