Republicans have several good choices to pick from in the presidential primary in Oklahoma on March 1. And this year, with so many candidates, Oklahoma’s participation in the early voting with Super Tuesday (also nicknamed the “SEC primary), Oklahomans will have a substantive impact on who gets the GOP nod.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is the best choice.
Sen. Cruz is a genuine conservative. He is more in the mold of President Ronald Reagan than anyone else. And during his time in the U.S. Senate, he stood for those conservative principles even in the face of opposition of his own GOP leadership.
That shows resolve and strength.
America needs a leader who is right on the issues, who is smart enough to deal with complex situations and has the fortitude to stick to his deeply held core beliefs.
Ted Cruz is a sincere Christian, a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. He is devoted to his family and he opposes legalized abortion. He is against legalized homosexual marriage. In Texas, he argued for the public display of the Ten Commandments at the State Capitol before the U.S. Supreme Court and won. The next president may name up to four new members of the court and we can trust Cruz to make the right choices.
Any Republican in the field would be better than Democrat Hillary Clinton or Socialist Bernie Sanders.
In order to right the ship in America and recover from eight years of Barack Hussein Obama, the United States should elect Sen. Ted Cruz.
