Pat Wagstaff, a member of the Oklahoma Human Sex Trafficking Task Force, will give a presentation at the Sept. 3 meeting of the Muskogee Patriot Townhall in the Muskogee Library from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Wagstaff, who is recording secretary of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, will talk about how sex trade is adversely affecting families and how citizens can help stop it.
Wagstaff is state president of the Womens Mission Union and a member of the Native Praise Choir. She works with Dayspring Villa, the only faith-based sex-trafficking shelter in Oklahoma. She also works with a group called “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” – an organization that tries to stop sex trafficking.
The Muskogee Patriot Townhall meets every month at the library, 801 W. Okmulgee St., in Muskogee.
