Editorial: Will Israel bomb Iran’s plants?

Who could blame Israel if it bombed the nuclear facilities of Iran?

President Obama and the U.S. Congress have stabbed our best ally in the Middle East in the back by approving a treaty (that is what it is according to the Constitution) that empowers Iran – Israel’s sworn enemy – with $150,000,000,000.00 in hard cash and a free rein to develop nuclear bombs and a delivery system.

In fact, Iranians routinely chant “Death to America!” and their leaders vow to kill every Jew on the planet.

The U.S. Senate could have stopped this madness but almost all of the Democrats stood in lockstep behind Obama and filibustered a vote against the agreement.

The evil leaders of Iran could not have scripted a better outcome for them. They are already talking about breaking the details of the agreement. Even if they strictly abide by the terms, they can disguise their efforts to make bombs.

In 1980, Israel bombed the nuclear facilities of Iraq to stop the building of a bomb. It came to be known as the “Begin Doctrine” – the concept that Israel can take a pre-emptive strike to save itself from a threat of annihilation.

That is the scenario that Obama has created not only for the Nation Israel but for Jews all over the world. His administration has warned Israel against a strike and the language of his treaty is such that America would defend Iran in case of a physical or cyber attack by Israel.

Israel must find a way to stop this madness. Israel has always been a friend to America and until now, America has protected Israel.

When will the bombs start to fly?
