Tuesday, June 16 will be primary election date for many state, county and judicial elections in Oklahoma. The runoff date (if needed) for the primaries will be on August 25 and the General Election will be held on November 3, 2026.
There are many candidates for a large ballot to be voted on by Tulsa area voters. Some candidates have already won their election without a vote by being the only candidate who filed for that position. Those positions and winners are:

The most heated elections this year are for state and federal offices with large numbers of candidates filed.
U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin resigned to take the position of U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security in the Trump administration, leaving his seat vacant. Gov. Stitt appointed energy executive Alan Armstrong to fill the seat until the November election. One Libertarian, six Republicans, four Democrats and two Independents all filed for the position.
