Congratulations to Coach Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State football team.
The Cowboys will proudly represent their university and the State of Oklahoma at the Fiesta Bowl and play a powerful Notre Dame team.
OSU and Notre Dame have never played each other.
With modest preseason predictions, the Cowboys almost had a perfect 12-0 regular season. A faulty spot in the loss to Iowa State gave the Pokes an 11-1 record and a slot in the Big 12 Championship.
Again, OSU was literally inches away from beating Baylor when they ran out of downs with 30 seconds left.
OSU had one of the best defenses in the nation. They defeated in-state rival Oklahoma and they beat Texas.
Gundy was deservedly named Big 12 Coach of the Year.
Only a year ago, the woke culture was calling for Gundy to be fired because he was pictured on social media wearing a shirt with the name of a conservative news outlet. Letting him go for such a minor issue would have been a travesty and a tragedy for the football program.
Mike Gundy is true blue. He went to school at OSU. He loves his university. He enjoys living in Stillwater and he is one of the most candid and honest coaches in the nation.
Good things are in store for OSU football because of hard work, devotion and determination.
Go Cowboys – beat Notre Dame.
