Moussa Cisse and Avery Anderson III each scored 18 points as Oklahoma State raced past West Virginia 81-58 Saturday in Stillwater.
Cisse, who added 10 rebounds, hit 8 of 12 shots from the field for OSU (12-12, 5-7 in the Big 12) for his third double-double of the season.
The front court for OSU overwhelmed the Mountaineers. Oklahoma State outscored the Mountaineers 40-16 in the paint.
“This is the second game (in the last three) when we just got big-boyed,” West Virginia coach Bob Huggins said. “They just took it in and bounced it, bounced it and bounced it until they got close enough to score.”
Oklahoma State has held its opponent to less than 60 points in all five of its conference wins. West Virginia beat the Cowboys 70-60 on Jan. 11.
The Cowboys shot 48% overall but hit only 3 of 13 from beyond the three point line. West Virginia shot 32% overall and made 7 of 27 three-pointers (26%).
OSU played at Kansas Monday night.
