Democrats and other liberals condemned the peaceful protest on Jan. 6, 2022 (only one person was killed and that was an unarmed woman shot by an officer) and they screamed that “our democracy is at stake.”

It wasn’t. In fact, it wasn’t an insurrection. Despite all the kangaroo court hearings in the House and the illegal detainment of American citizens, no one has been charged with “insurrection” – which is a crime.

So when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Rov v. Wade on June 24, those same Democrats and liberals lobbied for the “overthrow” of the Court and violence against justices. There was at least one assassination attempt that failed.

  • U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who said she feared for her life on January 6, showed up in the middle of a pro-abortion crowd in front of the Supreme Court Building and said the decision was “illegitimate”and shouted repeatedly “into the streets” – a direct instruction for street violence.
  • Also in Washington, D.C., protesters held signs that read, “We will aid and abet abortion!”
  • More 17,000 rioters protested in New York City, home of perhaps the most liberal abortion laws in the nation. They are still in place.
  • Rioters in Los Angeles threw rocks and set off fireworks toward the police.
  • In Phoenix, Arizona, rioters destroyed property at the State Capitol.

The list goes on. The liberal news media will focus on the peaceful protesters but those who break the law will not be prosecuted and or spotlighted in the news.

The difference between the reaction for Jan. 6 and June 24 is that on January 6, peaceful protesters (some did break some laws) lobbied for honest elections while on June 24, violent rioters screamed for the unconstitutional right to kill unborn babies.
