NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma has launched SoonerVision on ESPN+ which can provide one-stop-shopping access to more than 100 annual live events, including men’s and women’s basketball and varsity Olympic sport competitions, as well as studio programming and archival content from the OU Athletic Department.

As part of a multi-year agreement, ESPN+ will also stream one regular season football game per year (Sept. 10 vs. Kent State in 2022) and the annual spring football game.

In addition to live game programming, SoonerVision on ESPN+ will also offer historic content (several options are already available, including top games in OU history along with shows featuring Bud Wilkinson, Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops), current coaches shows, pro days, pregame shows and more.

Content is available via a SoonerVision landing page on ESPN+, with live soccer and volleyball events starting at the onset of the fall athletics season. By subscribing to ESPN+, fans also have access to Big 12 Now on ESPN+, which includes hundreds of live events each year.

ESPN+ is a sports streaming service that offers fans in the U.S. thousands of live sports events, original programming not available on ESPN’s linear TV or digital networks and exclusive editorial content from dozens of ESPN writers and reporters. Launched in April 2018, ESPN+ has grown to more than 22.3 million subscribers.

Fans sign up to ESPN+ for $6.99 a month (or $69.99 per year) at ESPN.com, ESPNplus.com or on the ESPN App (mobile and connected devices).

It is also available as part of the Disney Bundle that gives subscribers access to Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $13.99/month (Hulu with ads) or $19.99/month (Hulu without ads). Subscribers to Hulu + Live TV also receive ESPN+ at no additional cost.

The newly branded “Sooner Sports Network” is also available by visiting www.soonersports.com/watch and features on-demand video features, game replays (after 72 hours), highlights, press conferences and more. Previous SoonerSports.tv subscribers are no longer being billed. While all Sooner Sports Network video content will be free, an occasional specific series or long-form video will require viewers to log in with their free account (previous SoonerSports.tv subscribers can use their same credentials to authenticate). Archived video from previous seasons marked as “Premium” can also be accessed for free by logging in.

Former SoonerSports.tv customers who have questions regarding their accounts can submit a Fan Support ticket here.

SoonerVision on ESPN+ launched Aug. 1, 2022. OU programming is now available.

Athletics events that have traditionally appeared on ESPN’s linear channels (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS) Or FOX’s linear channels (FOX, FS1) will continue be, as the TV network selections for first- and second-tier rights remain the same as they have in recent years. ESPN and FOX Sports will make their selections of football, basketball and Olympic-sport programming to be shown on their linear channels, and OU events that are not chosen in the first- or second-tier selection process will then be made available to appear on ESPN+.
