Early voting begins for the Board of Education General Elections for ISD-1 Tulsa Public Schools District 1, ISD-10 Berryhill Public Schools Office 3, ISD-3 Bixby Public Schools Office 3 and ISD-2 Sand Springs Public Schools Office 3; as well as Municipal General Elections for the City of Bixby Council Member Ward 3, City of Broken Arrow Council Member Wards 3, 4 and At Large and City of Skiatook Council Member Ward 3 Thursday, March 30 for voters in Tulsa County. Voters, who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.
Tulsa County Election Board Secretary, Gwen Freeman, said early voting is open to all voters.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted through the State Election Board-from school board and municipal elections to state and federal elections. This is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines,” Freeman said.
Early voting is available Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the County Election Board located at 555 N. Denver Avenue, Tulsa. Freeman reminds voters that early voting is not available at polling locations.
