Texas Tech defeated Oklahoma State, 64-54 on Sunday afternoon in Lubbock, to win their fourth game in a row. The Red Raiders improved to 15-4, 6-2 Big 12, and OSU is now 10-9, 2-6.
Texas Tech was led by Chance McMillian with 14 points while Federiko Federiko added eight points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
The Cowboys were led by Bryce Thompson with 17 points, Arturo Dean scored 11 and Abou Ousmane finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double this season.
The Red Raiders jumped out to a quick 12-4 lead at the start of the game and led 37-27 at halftime.
OSU’s Thompson and and Dean combined to lead the Cowboys on a 16-1 run that cut Oklahoma State’s deficit to 52-49 with five minutes left to play in the second half.
The Cowboys shot 19-of-42 for 45% from the field, while the Red Raiders were 22-of-50 for 42%. OSU outrebounded Tech, 30-27.
OSU will be home to host Utah on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
