Tulsa, Oklahoma (1 April, 2025) In recognition of “Elks National Youth Week” observed May 1st-7th, the Tulsa Elks Lodge No.946 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America received an Official Proclamation from Tulsa Mayor, Monroe Nichols, IV.
The Members of the Tulsa Elks Lodge, No.946 work year round to provide help and support for local families and children. Their volunteers and charitable giving includes but is not limited to endeavors such as:
- Scholarships for upcoming high school graduates.
- Drug awareness outreach and participation in the National Drug Takeback Day every spring and fall.
- Backpack and supplies drives for McClure Elementary.
- Sponsoring the Bixby High School SPED program to attend prom.
- Recognition and financial support for the East Central, Thomas Edison, Nathan Hale, and Will Rogers High Schools’ JROTC Cadets.
- Hosting community outreach events at the Lodge multiple times a year including annual Easter, Summer, Elktoberfest/Fall, and Christmas events.

Their upcoming 2nd Annual Egg-Stravaganza (Saturday, April 12th, 11AM-2PM) will include local food vendors, photo ops with the Easter Bunny, crafts, interaction with Tulsa First Responders (PD/FD/EMSA), an egg hunt, and the Duck Drop Fundraiser. As part of the event, in recognition and appreciation for their attendance and selfless service to our community, the police, fire, and emergency response heroes at the event will be presented with Official Elks Certificates of Service.
