TULSA, OK – On Thursday, August 28th, the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office will partner with “Families Supporting Families” for their 8th annual “Illicit Drug Awareness Rally” taking place outside Tulsa City Hall located at 175 E. 2nd St S, Tulsa.  The rally will begin at 9:00am where a representative from the District Attorney’s office will speak and be available for comment.

“Fentanyl and other illicit drugs continue to damage our community”, said DA Kunzweiler, “Far too many loved ones have been lost to fentanyl poisoning, and the overdosing of illegal drugs.  My office works every day to find truth and seek justice for victims, and that includes filing murder charges on individuals who knowingly distribute dangerous illegal substances in Tulsa County.”

“We need families in Oklahoma to come together”, said Diane Searle, Founder of Families Supporting Families.  “Families who have lost a loved one to illicit drugs and fentanyl poisoning need to support each other.”

Families Supporting Families is a non-profit organization that started in 2018 to provide support to Oklahoma families who have lost loved ones in Oklahoma’s drug crisis, and raise awareness on the dangers of illicit drugs and fentanyl poisoning.
