Last week was the opportunity for candidates to file for School Board and Municipal offices in Tulsa County.   Many of the open positions had only 1 candidate filing – there will be no election held for these seats, the candidate who filed won. Only six races saw two candidates file, there will be no primary election for these races as there are only two candidates.  One open position saw no one file for City of Owasso Ward No. 3.

The contested elections are all in the school board filings.  Two candidates filed in each of the following:  in Broken Arrow  Pubic Schools Office No. 1, Glenpool Public Schools Office No. 1, Liberty Public Schools Office No. 1, Tulsa Public Schools Office No. 4 and 7, and the Tulsa Tech Center Office No. 7.
