Wes Enis scored 32 points to lead South Florida to a 93-78 win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday at the Reynold Center. South Florida is now 10-6 overall, 2-1 in the American. Tulsa dropped to 13-3, 1-2 American.
Tulsa was led by a career-high 34-points from David Green, with 10-of-15 shooting from the field. He made 4-of-7 three-pointers and was 10-of-12 from the free throw line. Green also led the team with eight rebounds. Miles Barnstable added 14 points, including three three-pointers.
The Bulls dominated most of the first half and led 51-36 at halftime.
Tulsa battled back and midway through the second half, the Golden Hurricane had cut the Bulls’ lead to ten, 70–60.
South Florida outrebounded Tulsa, 41-31. The Bulls shot 47.8 percent from the field, and they shot 68.4 percent from the free throw line.
Tulsa made 41.7 percent of their shots from the field and they were 75.9 percent from the free throw line.
Tulsa was scheduled to play at Charlotte on Wednesday and will be at UAB on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
