Tylen Riley scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Tulsa Hurricane to a 93-83 win over Wichita State at the Reynolds Center on Sunday afternoon. It was the sixth straight win for the Golden Hurricane.

Tulsa improved to 19-3 overall and 7-2 in the American. Wichita State dropped to 13-9, 5-4 American.

The first half saw multiple lead changes and was tight throughout. Tulsa led 43-39 at halftime.

The Golden Hurricane maintained control throughout the second half with consistent scoring. Tulsa led by 19 points, 75-56, with 8:51 remaining in the game.

Riley scored 16 points in the second half and was perfect 5-for-5 from the field. He also added five rebounds and four assists. David Green added 19 points, including three 3-pointers, while collecting eight rebounds and recording two blocks. Miles Barnstable contributed 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting, with three 3-pointers and six rebounds. Ade Popoola finished with nine points and two steals.

The Shockers were led by Kenyon Giles with 17 points and Karon Boyd with 10.

Tulsa will visit South Florida on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. CST. The game will air on ESPNU and 99.5 FM.
