Oklahoma State ended the regular season with a home series win over Arizona at O’Brate Stadium, in Stillwater.

Arizona won the first game on Thursday, 7-4, then the Cowboys took the second game on Friday, 13-1 in 7 innings. OSU clinched the series with a 7-5 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.

With the win, the 21st-ranked Cowboys improved to 36-19 overall and 18-12 in Big 12 play. OSU won six conference series this season, including its last four. Arizona concluded the season 19-34 overall and 9-21 in the Big 12.

OSU is competing this week in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Surprise, Ariz., where the Pokes are the No. 5 seed and received a double bye in the tourney; they were scheduled to take on fourth-seed UCF Thursday at 11 a.m. CDT.

The Cowboys are playing for the Big 12 automatic bid to the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
