Homosexual advocates are becoming more insistent that everyone think and act the way they do and nowhere is that more evident than on most college campuses.

At Shawnee State University in Ohio, Professor Nicholas Meriwether had a student who is a man but who wants to be known as a woman.

He insisted the professor call him “ma’am” while Meriwether preferred to call him “sir.” As a compromise, Meriwether said he would simply call him by his name and not use pronouns.

The student flew into a rage and demanded that the university fire the professor. Instead, the liberal administration reprimanded Meriwether.

Meriwether demanded that the reprimand be overturned but it wasn’t. So the professor is suing his university for violating his right to free speech. He wants the right to express his view on transgenderism without being punished by the administration.

He’s right.

Meriwether sought an accommodation that should not have offended the male student but would also not condone bad sexual conduct.

But that’s not good enough for the homosexual manifesto. Anyone who thinks that homosexuality is a sin (that’s taught in the Old and New Testaments) has to be shouted down and shut up. College administrators and activist, liberal judges are willing accomplices in squelching free speech.

There are only two genders – male and female. In America, you shouldn’t be able to force someone to believe otherwise, especially a college professor.
