Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show – the world’s largest gun and knife show – will open at Expo Square (Tulsa Fairgrounds) on November 10-11.
From a modest beginning in 1955, the show has grown to almost 6 miles of exhibits. It will fill the 11-acre building with more than 4,250 exhibits of fine antique and modern firearms, knives, swords and accessories – on display and for sale. General-interest exhibits will include wildlife and western art, bronze work and jewelry.
Several collectors’ organizations will be present with exhibits and items to sell. The Ruger Collectors and Smith & Wesson Collectors will be featured guests. The Wanenmacher show is international in scope, drawing exhibitors and spectators worldwide.
The public is invited to bring their firearms, swords, and knives for a free appraisal, or to sell or trade. If someone is thinking of upgrading, they will find the largest selection and best prices, said Joe Wanenmacher. Most exhibitors will take a gun in trade.
The show will feature celebrity guests, including Gunsmoke’s Buck Taylor and Jim West, star of Alaska Wild West. Also, the show has the NRA National Firearms Museum’s display of presidential firearms.
Admission is free with the purchase of a new NRA (National Rifle Association) membership at the door. Receive a discounted price of only $30, which includes a free T-shirt, valued at $16.95, plus free admission.
Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show brings more than $19 million to Tulsa annually, and more people attend than any other 2-day event at the Fairgrounds. The show is open Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance admission and V.I.P. Passes, are sold at 2A Shooting Center, Green Country Arms & Pawn, Sports World, and Gray’s Jewelry Gun and Pawn in Tulsa and Broken Arrow. Visit www.TulsaArmsShow.com for information.
