Tulsa’s Mayor G. T. Bynum signed an executive order on August 19 to add gender identity and expression to the City of Tulsa’s non-discrimination policy.

What is so foolish about Mayor Bynum’s executive order, the LGBTQ movement, and the impending legislation passed by the U.S. House (the Equality Act H.R. 5), is the fact that it is all based on how an individual feels about their gender identity. There is no way to prove or disprove a person’s claim to be LGBTQ.

Whereas, the original federal government “non-discrimination” policy specified conditions which could be factually proven by physical, biological, and/or hereditary evidence.  For example: Executive Order 8802, signed by President Roosevelt in 1941 prohibited discrimination based on race, creed, color or national origin.

President Johnson added “religion and sex” in 1969.  President Nixon added “handicap and age” in 1969.  All of which can be factually proven.  However, President Clinton added “sexual orientation” in 1998 (which cannot be proven) and we have continued on that downhill slide ever since.

It is time that we quit being misled by the whims and false claims of this secular world, and return to the truth of God’s Word:

“So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 2:27).  And Jesus himself affirmed this truth in Matthew 19:4 when he said, “Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female.”
