On November 4, author and former Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Dr. Everett Piper will launch a new hub of speakers with traditional solutions and insight for political, spiritual and business topics in American culture.
The new venture is called EkklesiaSterion and the goal is to guide the Church in government, business and reformation.
“Our goal is to help train and prepare Christian Patriots to become a voice and make a difference in their city, state and national government,” said Pastor Bruce DeLay, co-founder of EkklesiaSterion. “Evangelism without discipleship is not a fulfillment of the Great Commission.
“Our teachers are experienced and respected leaders in their field including present and former government officials, ministers, teachers, marketing and writing professionals, and more.”
Piper’s topics are “Freedom and Fences” and “Consequences of Abandoning Truth.” His session begins at 6:30 p.m.
The other initial speakers are:
- Combat veteran Jarrin Jackson will speak at 6:30 p.m. November 5 on “Rebranding Conservatism for the Future (Parts 1 and 2).
- Pastor Bill Ledbetter is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. November 7 and his topics are “Cherished Principles of Freedom and Why America Works” and “The Rogue Branch: Judicial Tyranny in America.”
- At 6:30 p.m. on November 8, Jesse Leon Rodgers will speak on “Appropriating the Atonement for Cultural Transformation (Parts 1 and 2).
The first four speaker presentations are free.
