Kristin Weis, co-founder and CEO of Project Demand has been appointed to a National Platform to Fight Human Sex Trafficking.

She is one of the nine people appointed by President Donald Trump to the Public-Private Partnerships Council to End Human Trafficking. U.S. Sen. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma, and U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin, nominated her for the two-year term.

The Demand Project is a nonprofit organization that seeks the eradication of sexual exploitation, especially in the case of children.

Weis told Value News, “This appointment really is an affirmation of what we’ve been doing and where we are about to go. I’m really excited to see where God goes with us from here.”
