Central Florida (13-10, 4-7 in the American Athletic Conference) led by as much as 19 points in the second half as the Knights beat Tulsa, 83-75, Sunday in Orlando. TU  (15-8, 7-3) cut the deficit to four points with 14 seconds left  but that was as close as the got.

TU’s Martins Igbanu got his first 30-point game, scoring a career-high on 12-16 (75%) shooting from the floor and 5-6 (83%) from the free throw line. Igbanu scored 20 of his points in the second half, which was 43% of Tulsa’s 46 second half points.

TU played East Carolina Wednesday night and they travel to South Florida for a 11 a.m. game Saturday.
