Five players scored in double figures for No. 1 Baylor Saturday as unranked Oklahoma State fell, 70-78, in Waco, Texas.

OSU (11-12, 1-9 in the Big 12) had four players foul out of the game. The Cowboys did have balanced scoring. Cameron McGriff and Isaac Likekele had 11 points each and Thomas Dziagwa and Kalib Boone both had 10 points.

Baylor’s MaCio Teague hit six consecutive free throws in the final 14 seconds, including four after frustrated Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton Jr. got two consecutive technical fouls and ejected from the game.

“Just a lot of frustration,” Boynton said. “I’ve got four guys foul out of the game, that’s pretty hard to understand. The game was obviously pretty physical both ways. So that’s about all I’ll say about that.”

Baylor’s Freddie Gillespie complimented the Cowboys.

“Their record isn’t indicative of the team they are. I stand by that,” said Gillespie. “They’ve got a senior team with Lindy Waters and Cameron McGriff, Thomas Dziagwa, Yori Anei. All those guys play hard and definitely have chemistry, and that makes them a tough opponent for us.”

OSU  played Wednesday at Kansas State. OSU hosts Texas Tech at noon Saturday.
