According to a national survey by candystore.com, coffee is the favorite flavor for jelly beans in Oklahoma. Green apple and marshmallow came in second and third in the Sooner State.
Popcorn flavored jelly beans were tops in Missouri, Arkansas and Texas while cinnamon jelly beans were No. 1 in Kansas. Black licorice were the favorites in six states, including Colorado. Maine was the only state where root beer was the favorite flavor.
Cinnamon was the top flavor overall while buttered popcorn came in second.

The National Retail Federation said Easter candy spending was $2.49 billion in 2020, down slightly from last year’s $2.63 billion. More is spent on candy for Easter than Halloween.
