U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is now proposing that all nations get together and implement a Global Tax on all multinational corporations. Yellen says, “This will create a more level playing field and will spur innovation, growth and prosperity.”
Note: Government taxes do not create prosperity – they do just the opposite – they take money away from hardworking individuals and well-run profitable businesses and redistribute it to others in an effort to achieve equity among the masses; i.e., “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” (Karl Marx’ Communist Manifesto).
Yellen went on to say, “Competitiveness is about more than how U.S.-headquartered companies fare against other [global] companies … It is about making sure that [global] governments have a stable tax system … and that all [global] citizens fairly share the burden of financing [global] government.”
Yellen made this proposal in a speech opening the World Bank and International Monetary Fund’s spring meetings which are being held virtually, and hosted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Yellen’s proposal coincides with President Biden’s announcement last week that he wants to increase the U.S. corporate tax rate to 28%, which would put the U.S. corporate tax rate 3% higher than China’s 25%.
Any reasonable person with common sense should be asking the Biden administration: “If you truly want to compete against China, why would you implement a higher tax rate on U.S. corporations? Are you doing this simply to reverse President Trump’s tax reductions? Or, are you truly unaware that higher corporate taxes always result in higher consumer prices?”
It’s standard business practice to incorporate “the cost of doing business” into the retail price of your product or service. As a business owner, if you didn’t do that, you would soon find yourself bankrupt and out of business.
Government taxes (federal, state, county and city), and the cost of labor, are big ticket items when it comes to computing your cost of doing business. And yet, the Biden administration is proposing big increases for both.
This proposal by Janet Yellen, and the drunken-sailor spending plans of President Biden, should make it clear to every American citizen: These plans will not benefit U.S. citizens. No, these plans are designed to shift the wealth from the United States to other countries, whom the United Nations, European Union, and the anti-American leaders of other countries consider to be “more worthy.”
It is all part of the “open border” plan underway right now, which will destroy the sovereignty of the United States and render us financially incapable of defending ourselves, thereby making us dependent on other nations, and paving the way for the soon to come One World Government as prophesied in the Holy Bible.
“He [the Antichrist] opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast [the Antichrist] — all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb [Jesus] that was slain from the creation of the world” (Revelation 13:6-8 NIV).
Wake up America, it is later than you think. Repent, turn from your wicked ways and pray for this nation.
